This DIY concrete &glass vase is very easy and cheap to make. Let me show you how. Be honest! How many cheap vases do you have? This one was plastic! There are a million variations, but here’s the step-by-step:

• clean it
• spray it with a primer (I don’t and mine adhere perfectly, but that’s really the “right” way to do it)
• if you want the textured lines (it’s beautiful without too!) spread a little joint compound with a putty knife and use a fork (I used an old wood graining tool I had) to create the lines
• sand lightly with a sanding block
• mix paint with baking soda to create a thin paste and brush it on
• as it’s drying, I dab with the brush to add a little more texture
