Paul, Weiss Adds Chief of European Operations in London

Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that Gareth Hughes will join the firm in London as chief of European operations. Hughes will oversee the operational management of the firm’s European practice, working closely with the firm’s London and global leadership teams.

Hughes brings extensive experience in legal business and operations management. He previously served for nearly 10 years as global director of strategy and execution at a global firm. In that role, he led strategic planning and execution across all offices, helped enhance the delivery of legal services, and oversaw office openings, expansions and lateral hiring.

Hughes holds an M.Sc. in Management Consultancy and Organizational Change from Birkbeck, University of London, and a B.A., with honors, in Business Management from The Open University. He completed a Global Strategic Management program at Harvard Business School, and also holds an Applied AI Professional Certificate from IBM and a Six Sigma Black Belt from the Institute of Project Management.
