An Oxford driver has to pay more than £2,000 after being caught more than double the drink driving limit.
Shivkarendiv Singh, of Yew Close, was caught on November 15 last year on the A329 at Warborough, a court heard.
Singh, who was driving a Volkswagen Golf, pleaded guilty at Oxford Magistrates' Court.

Singh, 42, was tested using a breathalyser and had 90 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, meaning Singh was more than twice over it.
Singh must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £615 and a fine of £1,538, giving total to pay of £2,238. This is unusually high for a drink driving offence.
Singh was also banned from the road for 23 months, but this can be reduced by 23 weeks if a course is completed by April 18 next year.
