A street in Oxfordshire is the subject of a police investigation after several parked cars were damaged.

The incident happened on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24 between 9.50pm and 10.15pm on Across Park Road, Palmer Road and Walker Drive in Faringdon.

Offenders have caused damage to vehicles along Palmer Road and attempted a robbery say police officers investigating the incident.

Thames Valley Police’s Priority Crime Team in Abingdon is now appealing for any witnesses after the incident of an attempted robbery and criminal damage.

The appeal was released on new Year’s Eve, one week after the damage had been initially done.

A Thames Valley Police (TVP) spokesperson said: “If you have any CCTV or ring doorbell footage or relevant information, you can get in touch by calling 101 quoting the reference number 43240622256.”
