The photos, interviews, and self-portraits of each woman shows the reality of young motherhood, in both its challenges and beauty. When the artist asked one of the participants what makes a parent, she replied, “Everything you do for your child and the way you love them. It doesn’t matter if you are old, young, middle aged; a mom is a mom.” This project shows the strength, love, and dedication of young mothers.
