The BulkBlock MediaWiki extension allows administrators to easily block multiple users at once on a MediaWiki wiki.
Installation
[edit]- Download and move the extracted
BulkBlock
folder to yourextensions/
directory.
Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cd extensions/
git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/BulkBlock - Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
wfLoadExtension( 'BulkBlock' );
- Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
Or install via Git:

Usage
[edit]- Navigate to the Special:BulkBlock page on your MediaWiki website.
- Enter the usernames of the users you wish to block in the text box.
- Enter the reason for the block in the text box.
- Press the "Block" button.
