Domenic Venuto, a long-time ad tech and agency exec who most recently served as COO of tech-centric investment banker Progress Partners, has joined Horizon Media in the new role of executive vice president and chief of product & data.

Venuto, who is based in New York, reports to Horizon Next President Gene Turner, and his new role underscores the big independent media services agency's "commitment to being at the forefront of data-driven marketing solutions," Horizon said in a statement.

Prior to joining Progress Partners full-time as COO in 2020, Venuto served on a number of ad-tech company boards, and held operating positions including COO of Amobee and general manager of The Weather Channel & Watson Advertising.

Prior to that, he served on the agency side as global president-data, technology and partnerships at Publicis Group, and managing director at its Razorfish unit before that.
