Figs 'Champion' Olympic Campaign Celebrates Team USA's Medical Pros


Athletes aren't the only stars at the Olympics and Paralympics Games in Paris. The unsung heroes are also medical professionals there to support them.

Medical apparel brand Figs has a new campaign, "Anatomy of a Champion," that salutes Team USA’s medical personnel at the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. Figs is outfitting more than 250 healthcare pros.

The campaign, which debuts today, airs across North American channels, including NBCU platforms, leading up to and throughout the Paris Games. OOH placements in Los Angeles, New York City and Philadelphia are placed across billboards, subway stations and buses.

In the spot, healthcare staff wear limited-edition scrubs from the Figs x Team USA Collection.

Derek Man Lui and Tom Coleman, creative directors, Mother, told Agency Daily:“At Paris 2024, we’ll be witnessing sport performed at the highest level. So it was a privilege to celebrate a different side to Team USA, to hero the healthcare professionals who put their blood, sweat and tears into everything they do. And to shine a light on the craft, expertise and dedication that goes into every single performance in a pair of scrubs.”

There will be an opening ceremony fête on July 26 at the Washington Square Arch in New York City, featuring Parisian-inspired experiences and a live stream of the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Games. 

In August, Figs will open a Figs x Team USA Pop-Up in Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square. 

The brand will also honor Team USA healthcare professionals with a “Celebration of Service” event at the Team USA House in Paris’ Palais Brongniart on August 6.

The Olympic Games will take place from July 26-August 11. The Paralympics runs August 28-Sept. 8.
