Cadillac Enlists Actor Jerry Ferrara For Escalade Reveal

Cadillac is enlisting an actor with close ties to the brand for the reveal of the 2025 Escalade. 

Ferrara starred in "Entourage," where his character is known for driving his childhood buddies around Los Angeles in a Cadillac Escalade. The show ran for eight seasons from 2004 to 2011. Another Cadillac — the concept Cadillac Ciel  — was featured in the movie version of "Entourage" in 2015. 

The actor and Cadillac will be posting on social media channels with the 2025 Escalade this week, paying homage to the show and his character, as the show celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Created by Weber Shandwick, the content will appear on the @Cadillac and @JerryFerrara handles on Instagram. The first post features Ferrara talking about his history with the brand while he checks out the new model, including its massaging seats.

The 2025 Escalade starts production in late 2024 in North America, with availability in other regions to follow. Additional details and pricing will be announced in the future. The luxury full-size SUV includes a refreshed interior and exterior.

The media were offered a preview of the new vehicle on Monday. 

The Escalade franchise has defined Cadillac for five generations, says John Roth, vice president, global Cadillac.

“The Escalade has always been about bold American craftsmanship, technology and performance, and has continuously raised the standard of full-size SUV luxury since it was introduced 25 years ago,” Roth says. 

As the best-selling luxury full-size SUV in North America since 2014, and with more than 1 million units sold globally, the expansion of the portfolio to include a refreshed Escalade and the all-new all-electric Escalade IQ later this year positions the brand well to offer an Escalade that meets the needs of all customers, he says.

New for the 2025 Escalade are available 24-inch wheels, the largest ever offered on an Escalade. 

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available since the Escalade is gas-powered. The apps are not being offered on new electric vehicles. which instead focus on a new native Google-based navigation system that features enhanced information about charging and charging station availability. 

The new Escalade has standard Super Cruise driver assistance technology on all trims and includes the three years of the OnStar Super Cruise planNight Vision is available on all trims and standard on V-Series & Platinum trims. 

There is available 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability connected by OnStar, along with a suite of OnStarsafety and connected services. Passenger entertainment options include HD streaming and browser compatibility.
