Ocado Kicks Off 'Summer' Shopping Spree

British-based Ocado, which claims to be the world’s largest dedicated online grocery retailer, launched a 30-second “Let Summer Come to You” campaign.

The work is from St. Luke's, the brand's creative agency, teamed with Eat Creative, Ocado’s in-house creative team.

The spot runs on some of the UK’s biggest shows, including "Britain’s Got Talent," "Gogglebox," "The Piano" and "Red Eye." There are also social media and digital audio executions. All run through late September.

Hearts & Science devised the media strategy and is responsible for ATL media buying. Threepipe handled performance buying.

Eat Creative produced out-of-home billboards, visible at Euston Station, as well as print ads in the Guardian, The Times, Metro and Evening Standard.

Al Young, joint Chief Creative Officer at St Luke’s, said: “Summer is all about spontaneity and Ocado’s brilliant brief allowed us to push the campaign on — showing how effortless it is to have all foods and drinks that make summer special delivered to your door.”

Ocado ended 2023 with more than 1 million active customers, according to NIQ.
