Dow Jones has launched Dow Jones Smart Money, a financial literacy and proficiency resource it had announced late last year.
The service will provide information from The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Investor’s Business Daily and MarketWatch. The free content will appear on the DowJones.com/SmartMoney site.
Current featured topics include, “Why Should You Care About Financial Wellness?,” “Why Start Investing?” and “Types of Investments.”
There also are articles on credit scores, budgeting, taxes, and other banking basics.
“Dow Jones Smart
Money seeks to demystify financial topics like credit, interest rates, 401(k)s and annuities – all with the goal of breaking down barriers and empowering people of all backgrounds with the tools
they need to direct their financial future,” says Almar Latour, CEO of Dow Jones and publisher of The Wall Street Journal.
Dow Jones has also formed a
partnership with Webull, an online global investment broker, to help improve financial literacy. Webull users can access curated content from The Wall Street Journal via the Webull
app.
