This Monday's #randomTFHepisode is Will Ahmed, the founder and CEO of WHOOP. We interviewed Will back in February 2021. Will is the founder and CEO of #WHOOP, a company that provides wearable technology to monitor and improve health and performance. Since 2021, WHOOP has raised over $400 million, making it one of the most valuable standalone wearables companies globally. Before founding WHOOP, Ahmed studied at Harvard University, where he read over 500 medical papers on human physiology. This research inspired him to develop technology that could provide continuous insights into the human body. He co-founded WHOOP in 2012, focusing on creating a product that improves lives through better health understanding. Since the interview, the company launched WHOOP 4.0, an advanced version of its wearable device with features such as a pulse oximeter, skin temperature sensor, and haptic alerts. These enhancements have enabled more precise health monitoring and feedback for users. In this episode, we talked about everything from Will’s childhood and his passion for sports, how being a college athlete made him obsessed with continuously monitoring his body and performance, his motivation for wanting to be an entrepreneur, how the idea for WHOOP came about and the early days of building the company, his thoughts on failure and how to approach the fear of it, how he feels about networking and much more. Check out Will's episode on our show to learn more about his story! https://lnkd.in/e6YEBwCS

Some great insights on passkeys and the evolving landscape of online security! I particularly enjoyed Anna Pobletts's perspective on passkeys' future and implementation's nuances. It's reassuring that experts like her and 1Password are shaping a more secure and user-friendly internet experience. Also, the discussion on the state of wearables was intriguing, especially the shift from traditional smartwatches to emerging technologies like smart rings. I look forward to more discussions on the intersection of tech and security! #1password #Passkeys #Security #TechTalk
