Recently, the horrific incident involving a doctor from RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata has shocked us all. This Independence Day, while we honor the sacrifices of those who fought for our nation’s freedom, let’s also stand up for those who are fighting for justice today. The freedom we cherish must extend to ensuring that every person, regardless of their profession, gender, or background, can live and work without fear. As we celebrate, let’s pledge to demand justice for the victims of such heinous acts and work towards a society where safety and respect are the rights of all. Growing up, my parents taught me valuable lessons on honesty and integrity. My father once pointed out that taking something without asking, even if you intend to tell later, is still wrong. This made me realize the importance of asking for permission first. Similarly, my mother taught us to admit our mistakes truthfully, emphasizing that honesty is crucial. Today, I came across a post that said, "Happy Independence Day! We have progressed in every wrong deed," which upset me. A nation's flaws reflect its people's actions. Instead of criticizing our country, we should focus on improving ourselves and contributing positively. Before pointing fingers at others, we need to uphold values like honesty and integrity in our homes. Small acts, like properly disposing of trash, contribute to a better society. Let’s stop focusing on flaws and start fulfilling our responsibilities to make our nation better. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! 🇵🇰 May Allah help us uplift our nation and protect its honor. Ameen.

I have never been invited to any huge presidential inauguration event before (I will soonest💪🏽🤩). But I've followed quite a number. Many are held all over the continents of the world. The US, Europe, Africa, the UK, Asia, the Middle East, etc. There are usually different attractions to them. One is that guests are classified and issued invitations based on their perceived importance. Powerful individuals in politics, business, religion, wealth, and other top caders of life are usually invited including sitting and former Presidents from different nations, worldwide business moguls, and captains of industries to mention a few. Their invitation rating are usually identified on their issued invitation sent to them. It would determine how and where they would sit at the event. Usually, you look at such highly placed personalities differently. Truly, dints of hard work and/or favor could have placed them at such levels. But a wrong assumption usually made is that they do not need or lack anything because of their status, position, wielded power, level of riches, wealth, and the like. How wrong that assumption is. Several are lonely. Some are challenged in one area or the other. ————————————————— This brings up the fact that it is the same way unfortunately we see and treat God many times. God is God and rules over all. Yes! Yet He demands and truly deserves a couple of things from you, and indeed everyone! The one I will mention today is your "Thanksgiving". The love of God to you and every mankind is uncountable. It shows in many aspects. The least is to give Him thanks. And to remember to do so regularly. It was Thanksgiving Sunday in the church today (it is every 1st one in the month). I was glad to thank and appreciate Him. How often do you remember God to show appreciation?
