Swami Obvious shares some wise words on how to approach life's challenges. When faced with a mountain of snow, you have two options: walk away or ski down. But, as Swami Obvious points out, skiing requires a lift ticket. So, choose cautiously. Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, LLC #lifelessons #decisionmaking #risktaking

Have you heard of the '𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐧' in skiing? It's when skiers find themselves unexpectedly up close and personal with a tree. Sometimes, it's just a gentle brush, but it can take many turns. Here’s a rule that’s true for both skiing and life: If you don’t want to hit a tree, don't look at it. Our feet tend to follow where our eyes lead. Think about how often we concentrate on what we don't want, only to end up right there. If you don’t want to hit a tree, don't look at it. Instead, 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨. Life's a lot more fun when you're not crashing into trees. -------------- PS. Follow me for more! #misharuwellbeing #PositiveOutlook #LifeMetaphors
