Billy and I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Graham Woodward RNMH FCMI living legend and trailblazer in the medical cannabis world—and let's just say, he's doing some mind-blowing work over at Releaf onboarding 100 patients per day!! Off the charts!! His passion and dedication to healing patients is seriously inspiring. We had an epic chat about what makes Releaf tick, and the real gem was their "nurture patients”vibe. When I popped the big question—how they keep regulators from cramping their style while staying true to their cause—Graham hit me with some wisdom. “It’s all about transparency and compliance,” he said. “ We are an open book. We keep things squeaky clean, from the farm to patient care, so the rule-makers stay happy, and we can focus on what matters most—our patients." But hold up, it gets better. When talking about Releaf culture, Graham dropped this gem: “At Releaf we are truly a family. We're not just handing out medicine; we're building bonds. We really listen, dig into what our patients need, and whip up personalized solutions that level up their lives. We nurture!” Is it any wonder Releaf is crushing it in the industry? Their secret ? A perfect blend of regulatory ninja skills and nurturing patient care combined with a vertical integration into the supply chain that ensures ALL patients ALL the time, through Releaf’s Patient Charter are guaranteed consistency and timely delivery of the highest quality medication available in the UK today……. Meeting Graham was like opening a window to the future of medical cannabis—where care, compassion, and a little green magic make all the difference.

Next in our state series is South Carolina, where medical and adult use cannabis remains illegal. However, there are several SC senators who have been trying to get a medical cannabis bill passed by the House. ❤️🩹Republican Senator Tom Davis for instance has championed S. 423, or the Compassionate Care Act, a medical cannabis bill that would legalize cannabis use in oils, patches, salves, and vaporizers for specific illnesses. Approved illnesses include cancer, multiple sclerosis, glaucoma, sickle cell anemia, autism, Crohn’s disease, and neurological disorders such as epilepsy and PTSD. 🚭Smoking would remain illegal in SC. Additionally, the medical cannabis could only be obtained through a prescription and filled through specific pharmacies. Doctors would be required to have in-person visits with the patient who then could only obtain a two-week supply at a time. ✅While the SC Senate approved S. 423 in February 2024, the medical cannabis bill died in House when the session adjourned in May. Sen. Tom Davis hopes to reintroduce the bill in next year’s session. #freetheplant #southcarolinalaw #southcarolinacannabis #cannabislaw #cannabisdecriminalization #patientaccess #patientadvocacy
