Last Thursday, I was representing TEAL Mobility at the Rencontres de la Filière organized by SOLUTRANS | Transport routier et urbain!   It was a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders and discuss the key challenges shaping hydrogen sector. One highlight was visiting Symbio’s facility, a subsidiary of Michelin, Faurecia and Stellantis. For me, it's a must-see, which makes one proud to be European and working in the H2 sector ! 💧 I also joined a a round-table discussion on “Hydrogen: Potential and Challenges of a True Green Revolution.” It was an honor to represent our industry’s voice on how hydrogen is rapidly becoming a crucial solution for reducing emissions, particularly for heavy-duty vehicles.   While the potential is enormous, we still face challenges in building infrastructure, improving efficiency, availing hydrogen powered trucks and making hydrogen accessible to all. At TEAL Mobility, we are already contributing by developing a hydrogen station network across major European corridors and driving the shift toward greener transport. A great day yesterday at the Connected Places Summit. I joined a panel with partners from ULEMCo Ltd, ZeroAvia, and easyJet to discuss hydrogen innovation for aviation, airports, and beyond. It's inspiring to see different parts of the industry, and different sectors, coming together and pulling in the same direction. BMW Group and Airbus lead the €4.7bn hydrogen transport IPCEI initiative approved by the European Commission. "The Hy2Move project will support research, innovation and the first industrial deployment in the hydrogen value chain in transport with €1.4bn of state money. This is expected to unlock a further €3.3bn of private investment in fuel cells for buses, trucks, trains and aircraft, as well as storage and refuelling stations."   🌍 Exciting Times Ahead at LanzaTech! 🌍   This London Climate Action Week we are proud to reflect on our recent news that LanzaTech increased its ownership stake in LanzaJet from ~23% to ~36%, marking a significant milestone in our journey to revolutionize sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production. This strategic move comes as LanzaJet ramps up global deployment of its pioneering Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) technology.   Our strengthened partnership with LanzaJet paves the way for groundbreaking projects, including Australia’s first ethanol-to-SAF plant with Jet Zero Australia.   This is just the beginning! With further sublicensing and global deployment, LanzaTech's interest is also expected to further increase. 🌍 ALL-IN Zero Project Milestone at AVL Ibérica! 🌍 On September 23-24, 2024, our dedicated team gathered at AVL Ibérica in Mataró, Barcelona. It was an inspiring couple of days as we reviewed our progress and mapped out the next steps for the ALL-IN Zero project, supported by the Horizon Europe framework. Our focus was on the Compact Membrane Reactor (CMR) system, which holds incredible potential for reducing emissions by producing hydrogen from low- or zero-carbon fuels. The expertise and collaboration from CMT–Clean Mobility & Thermofluids (UPV), Instituto de Tecnología Química (UPV-CSIC), and Forschungszentrum Jülich have been invaluable. As we move forward, we’re excited to dive into real-world applications, including developing a digital twin of the multi-fuel system. This meeting was a powerful reminder of how global cooperation is essential in our fight against climate change.
