It's not about the pizza, however. Seven Eleven has quietly started their 7NOW delivery service in Hokkaido, Kanto, and Kyushu, and will go nationwide by next March. Convenience stores have already become neighborhood hubs where you can do anything from buy fresh food or a bento, do most of your ATM banking, pay for online shopping without using a credit card, and ship out the used goods you sold online. Getting into 30-minute delivery is a no-brainer because they are already acting as the "last mile." It is no wonder that Uber Eats has launched its own PickPackPay recently. The big question then is can independent delivery service firms find a competitive advantage over Japan's convenience store giants?

As digital ordering becomes more popular, some restaurants are adopting GrabAndGo models to reduce labor expenses and increase profits. However, even when customers are picking up food to-go, most would prefer not to be restricted to using mobile payments. #iworkforComcast #FoodIndustry #RestaurantTech #MobilePayments https://lnkd.in/g5qidAA7

Mobile ordering and off-site consumption continue to be preferred by many customers today. In a fast-paced society, people are looking for convenience with grab-and-go and delivery options. How do operators capitalize on that opportunity? Ensure the same level of quality and presentation of orders as in-store OR BETTER! We have provided our existing partners with a complete brand elevation as well as the ability to introduce new revenue opportunities (increased delivery order volumes, beverages included in catering, etc.). End-customers now have confidence beverages will arrive fresh, while delivery partners do not have to deal with the problem-areas associated with handling drinks in transit. No spills, leaks, tampering. Beverages should always be a point of emphasis to sell more of.

One of the biggest talking points at NRA is the debate between working with a single restaurant tech vendor vs piecing together a strong tech stack. Especially now with a lot of POS and payment processors are releasing more product offerings and releasing their own kiosks...there are advantages and disadvantages of working with a single vendor on things.

To say that can not bypass the reason, as a global chain of pizza stores, as early as before entering the domestic market because of the love of the whole variety of flowery work, captured a large number of “Damen believers”, to become the global pizza a brother After entering the domestic market, after twenty years of silence, it began to accelerate its expansion, relying on excellent products and WeChat's full range of operations, so that any diner who has eaten there can't help but shout “Damen Forever”, expecting to have a Damen restaurant at their doorstep. Similar to its business in the global market, more than 80% of Delta's orders in China come from online, but the difference is that Delta has built up a full channel for members to order online: including WeChat applets, APPs, the official website, and third-party platforms such as Meituan Takeaway, HungryMall, Alipay/Koubei, and so on. In recent years, Delta has begun to speed up the expansion of new cities and the number of stores in the domestic market.

In the world of speedy delivery and online-everything, "Easy" just keeps getting Easier. Just when you think it couldn't get any easier, it does. I don't know about you, but these days when I have to wait 24 hours for the delivery of my online order (of anything!), I'm left wondering why there's such a delay. Because rapid on-demand delivery is now the norm. Over the last 20 years, e-commerce has transformed my life and, I suspect, yours. More choice, convenience, and personalisation. And now more speed. I was surprised to read the outcome of some research we did with JustEat recently to explore the shifts in the world of rapid delivery. It's not (just) food anymore. Oh no. The food was just for starters. There's plenty more where that came from - just you wait and see. Check this out: ➡️ https://ow.ly/28Yw50SOZG0
