How To Host Profitable Conferences

Question for all #eventprofs and #meetingprofs - if you could budget to attend just one national/international conference a year and your main goal was educational offerings, which would you attend? I've gone to MPI-WEC for past several years and am curious on thoughts on other options. What meeting professional conferences/gatherings are your favorites?

One significant challenge of online conferences is the significant time commitment they often require. In exchange for what can sometimes be a small value addition, attendees may find themselves investing hours of their day. Enter the concept of bite-sized conferences. Speakers have the floor for just 15-20 minutes, followed by a brief 10-15 minute Q&A session moderated to keep things on track. How important is having various speakers? Most summits/ conferences tend to pull ppl in by the speaker names and the number of sessions. It seems like the more volume, the more impactful the event appears to be. My question for you is, does the number of speakers and sessions determine whether you’ll attend? Or do you place more value in the content that will actually be shared?
