Rejected 50 times before I landed Adobe—here's what kept me going. I got turned down for a BDR position at Salesforce. I couldn’t move past the 2nd round for LinkedIn. 50 more failed interviews. Then Adobe happened. Every rejection stung but I kept knocking the door again and again and again. That meant pushing myself everyday. I made notes of all my interview questions and even the answers I gave. So that I can learn. Avoid mistakes. Refine my answers better. To believe that something good is waiting to happen. By the time Adobe interviews got scheduled, I was so much more confident. Rest 10% was luck. Resilience. Self-Belief, Learning from every No – 3 pillars of success. My lifelines. To anyone reading this, trust yourself and your abilities. Where you see yourself in 5 years will be defined by what you do NOW. Don’t’ stop trying. Dear LinkedIn Community, I recently shared that I decided to leave Microsoft to pursue a new opportunity. In my search for the next step in my career, I focused on several key criteria: company culture, the enthusiasm and spirit of the people, market position, and most importantly, opportunities for growth and learning.
