Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations at Atlanta Mission
We had so much fun with Brittany B. and the group from Accenture who spent their #DayofService at Atlanta Mission’s donation sorting center! Love that they made it a family affair, and they generously shared their Chick-fil-A lunch with me. Thank you so much for your commitment to serve the community!

It seems like this summer is filled with a lot of exciting projects and developments, from new construction builds and software rollouts to expanding core operations to serve a growing market. It's great to see this growth and optimism, especially after the uncertainty that has affected our businesses and lives in recent years.
However, it's not just businesses that are seeing increased activity. Not-for-profit organizations are also facing more challenges with the same budget constraints and higher operating costs while still fulfilling the needs of those theybstrive to support. Organizations like the Cool Aid Society of Grande Prairie have dedicated teams working tirelessly to support their causes.
For instance, the Cool Aid Youth Program underwent a significant facelift this year, thanks to the efforts of Barbara Feltham-Brentnall and her team. The infrastructure upgrade and the time invested by the staff and volunteers have resulted in engaging, fun, and educational summer camps for the kids. These programs not only enhance the lives of the children but also fulfill a crucial need in our community.
With everyone being busy this summer, I urge you to consider supporting societal initiatives that help keep your community strong. Not-for-profits are facing rising costs, but support can come in many forms, such as sharing skills, providing art programs, donating day-to-day supplies, or offering career guidance. Even leftover supplies from construction projects can make a difference in these communities.
Don't forget to lend a hand to organizations like these this summer. A little help can go a long way within your community, often in ways that have a lasting impact you wouldn't initially realise.

I continue to be astounded by the generosity of my community.
Today, at Cool Aid Society, the youth center I am proud to be a part of, we received a dishwasher thanks to a generous donation from a private donor.
Living in a community that supports each other fills me with gratitude.
Thank you, Kirtis Siemens, for your generous support!

Link: https://lnkd.in/dhPtmaNbUnited Way of the Greater Capital Region is doing a special fundraiser, asking people to donate as a way to wish their President and CEO Peter Gannon a happy birthday.
Giving has changed in the last two decades and the more micro-donations an organization can get, the more success they'll have. This is a great example of using a special day to your benefit.
What special days exist in your organization? Is there something in the next couple of months that you can use as a hook for collecting micro-donations and raise your brand's image?
🌟 Did you know? There are various ways to receive support for your organization beyond monetary donations! 🌟
💸 While financial contributions are appreciated, there are diverse avenues for support beyond writing a check.
📈 Consider stock contributions through an investment account or IRA. If your nonprofit has a brokerage account, donors can contribute this way, avoiding capital gains and maximizing support for your mission.
🎁 In-kind donations are invaluable! Individuals or businesses can provide supplies and materials, reducing your expenses and allowing you to allocate funds more effectively.
🤝 Donated Services count too! You can recognize donated services as organizational revenue, stretching your resources further and amplifying your impact.

🤝 Did you know your employer might double your impact with a corporate match? 🤝
If you've generously donated to OAR recently, take a moment to check if your employer offers a corporate matching gift program. Many companies match donations made by their employees to eligible nonprofits like ours, effectively doubling or even tripling the impact of your contribution!
✨Together, we can make a significant difference in our community! ✨

During our Taking Off The Mask Facilitator Audition, Parth Savla Parth Shanti Savla illuminated the essence of community with profound simplicity: "A community is a safe space where trust, fun, play, and vulnerability converge." This definition captures the spirit of what we strive to build at Ever Forward Club—a place where everyone can show up as their true selves, supported by a circle of trust and understanding.
As we rally for the 20th Annual Ever Forward 5K Challenge, we're reminded that each step we take, each donation we make, contributes to strengthening this community. It’s about more than just funds; it’s about reinforcing a network where youth feel seen, heard, and valued.
🚀 Your support can amplify this vision. By joining the challenge, donating, or spreading the word, you're not just helping us meet our goals—you're fostering environments where vulnerability is met with open arms.
Let’s champion a community of compassion and courage. Visit https://lnkd.in/gbSNY3Kf to make a difference today. Together, we can turn the ideal of a supportive community into our everyday reality.

We all know the saying “It takes a village”. I believe that this is true. I know that I have had a village surround me and support me through all of the phases of my life and career. I am so grateful for the people who encouraged me, told me the truth and encouraged me to persevere even when I didn’t want to. I have worked really hard, but it hasn’t been alone.
That is why this year, I have purchased a “Pay it Forward” ticket for the upcoming Take Charge Conference. I know that this donation will enable the Lean-in-Latinas event team to offer partial scholarships for attendees who otherwise might miss out on this year’s event.
I challenge all of my connections to join me in making a donation and purchasing a “Pay it Forward” ticket. I know you all will show up in person if you are able and if you’re not, will show up in kind. Can’t wait to see you all at the 2024 Take Charge Conference on August 9.
