Delete campaign groups

As an advertiser, you can delete campaign groups that were created by mistake or aren't needed. You need campaign manager access or higher on an ad account to delete campaign groups.

Important to know

Once a campaign group has been deleted, the action can't be reversed. When you delete a campaign group, all campaigns and ads in that group are also deleted.

To delete a campaign group: 

  1. Sign in to Campaign Manager.

  2. If you need to switch accounts, click the account name in the upper-left corner of the page and select the correct account name from the dropdown.

  3. On the Campaign groups tab, select the checkbox next to the campaign group you'd like to delete.

  4. Click the Delete icon at the top of the page. The Delete confirmation dialog appears.

  5. Click the Delete button to confirm.

Results

Your campaign group and all campaigns and ads within the group are deleted. You can still view performance metrics for the deleted campaign groups in Campaign Manager.
