We are thrilled to officially welcome Erika Berman Rosenzweig, MD, as the new William Russell McCurdy Physician-in-Chief at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. Dr. Rosenzweig is an internationally recognized leader in pediatric and adult pulmonary hypertension and is board certified in pediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart disease. With over 250 scientific publications and more than 50 clinical trials, her dedication to advancing children's healthcare is truly inspiring. In addition to her role at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, Dr. Rosenzweig will serve as Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at New York Medical College and Director of the Department of Pediatrics at Westchester Medical Center. We are confident that her leadership will continue to uphold the tradition of excellence in pediatrics at both institutions. Dr. Rosenzweig succeeds Michael Gewitz, MD, who has been in the role since before Maria Fareri Children's Hospital opened 20 years ago.
