For the first time, the upcoming USTA Junior National Indoor Championships will utilize PlayReplay electronic line-calling in competition, marking the debut of formal ELC during play at USTA national junior tournaments.

This past month, USTA staff celebrated National Coming Out Day with a movie screening of the documentary “Will & Harper” and a pizza party. Employees were given Rebel t-shirts courtesy of Pride Live and the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, honoring the Rebels who ignited the fight for LGBTQIA+ equality 55 years ago and the Rebels of today who are dedicated to advancing the Stonewall Legacy. USTA is proud to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and welcome everyone into the game.

Tennis is open for all abilities. For the 4th year, athletes from across the U.S. competed in the 2024 USTA Adaptive Tennis National Championships, a unified doubles event that pairs players with intellectual disabilities together with a non-disabled partner. We had an incredible time at the National Recreation and Park Association Conference in Atlanta this week! Our staff and section volunteers were thrilled to connect with so many park and recreation professionals from across the country and share resources and programs to help make tennis accessible to everyone!
