Last Friday, the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute hosted our annual mentor matchup for the 2nd cohort of our Tech Venture Accelerator (TVA). TVA is a 6-month startup accelerator for New York University deep tech founded by faculty, grad students, postdocs & researchers. Every team has previously participated in the National Science Foundation (NSF) I-Corps program, and TVA's goal is to help them launch their ventures, secure initial pilots and/or revenue and prepare for fundraising.
Each of the 7 teams receive $50,000 grant funding, training, coaching, pro-bono legal counsel from Goodwin, accounting support from Rooled, cloud computing credits from Amazon Web Services (AWS), SBIR/STTR training and prep, and mentorship from an amazing group of startup founders & investors. Thanks to all the mentors who volunteer their time to support our teams including Alicia Z., Anita Riyat, Chika Ogele, David Danar, MD, Heidi Anderson, Jennifer Hill, Joseph Chittenden-Veal, Joe Landolina, Joseph Schneier, Joseph F. Krause, Julia Schulhof, Julie Diamond, PhD, Leslie Mitchell, Maurice Russo, Michael Elizabeth Fall, Navi S., Nicolas Vansnick, René Bastón, Ron Goldman, Sandra Pérez Baos, Ph.D., Thomas Weingarten, Wayne Mackey & Yaopeng Zhou, ph.d!
