NACS is hosting the first industry-specific Loss Prevention and Safety Symposium. The event, designed specifically for the convenience channel and its unique challenges, will take place December 3-4 in Dallas, Texas. “The volume of concerns being expressed by our members regarding protecting their people and managing their assets has risen to unprecedented levels, and so over the course of the last year we’ve convened research and an industry working group to understand the key pain points and where solutions and dialogue are needed. The result is this important new industry event,” said Lori Stillman, vice president of research and education at NACS. “It is a timely event developed for the industry by the industry, with leading convenience industry loss prevention and asset protection leaders sharing insights because it’s a topic that they care deeply about.” Read more about the event in NACS Daily and register your team today: https://bit.ly/3ChfRWM

Congratulations to Love's Travel Stops for hitting a huge milestone! With two new locations opening in Wichita, Kansas, and Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Love’s Travel Stops has surpassed the milestone of 650 stores. The Wichita location is one of Love’s largest stores to date at nearly 12,000 sq. ft. and “helps meet a big need for truck parking and other pro driver services in the Wichita metro area,” the company said. The Hattiesburg location "adds pro driver services to an area previously without a national travel stop presence.” The company also noted that its location along a major travel corridor and near recreational attractions such as the De Soto National Forest makes the store a “strategic location for Love’s growing RV network,” with six RV hookups, RV dump service, private showers, Wi-Fi service and more. Read more in #nacsdaily: https://lnkd.in/eh_H2fJX In honor of the grand opening of these travel stops, Love’s will donate $5,000 each to Atwater Neighborhood Resource Center in Wichita and United Way of Southeast Mississippi in Hattiesburg.
