  • We had an amazing experience touring STIHL Inc.’s U.S. headquarters in Virginia Beach this week, especially as the company celebrates 50 years of operations! Thank you to the STIHL team for the opportunity to see firsthand how its top-quality equipment is made and for its invaluable partnership. With STIHL chainsaws and other advanced tools, our crews work safely and effectively every day, meeting the highest industry standards! Congrats on 50 years of excellence!

  • Kendall reminds you that we “fall back” one hour tonight to mark the end of daylight saving time. The good news: you get an extra hour of sleep; the bad news, it starts to get darker sooner in the evenings. This can create driving challenges due to compromised visibility, depth perception, and peripheral vision, so take extra care during these shorter days to stay safe on the roads!

Utility Arborist Association and the Georgia Vegetation Management Association had an impressive turnout for its inaugural Regional Meeting this week. With a strong focus on safety, the event started with a live line demo, followed by educational sessions on Day Two. Presentation discussions included next-gen telematics, aerial rescue and safety tactics, tick prevention and protection, improving safety and performance through learning events, herbicide application and habitat awareness, and wildfire risk reduction. Our own Craig Faulk, Regional Manager and President of GVMA, who worked closely with Matt Goff, President of UAA, to organize the meeting, said, “We thank all attendees and sponsors for making our first event so successful. We appreciate your enthusiasm and engagement. The audience and dynamic speakers helped create a great learning and networking experience.” GVMA's Annual Conference is April 23-25, 2025 in Savannah - Save the Date!
