Meet Tim Martin, First-class Risk Control Consultant at INSURICA! ► Tim, describe your work at INSURICA. What do you find most rewarding? "I work in the Risk Control Department where I help our customers with safety,🚧 fire protection🔥and compliance with carriers and regulatory agencies. The most rewarding part of my job is being part of a great team and contributing to the success of INSURICA. 💪The most challenging part of my job is telling people “no” to avoid over-committing." ► Tim, what characteristics make you successful at INSURICA? "I feel that I have had success because I am a people person.😁 Growing up in Oklahoma I appreciate the value that Okies place on family, friendships and relationships. I appreciate that making small talk or asking a customer about their kids is almost always assumed as polite before talking business.🤝 As my career has progressed at INSURICA, I am working more with our large property accounts. This has definitely challenged me and I have had to broaden my knowledge-base on such things as sprinklers and fire protection systems, roof construction types, Probable Maximum Loss (PML) calculations and some of the different engineering controls that can mitigate risk on large properties.😮 Before starting I didn’t realize just how much property coverage makes up INSURICA’s portfolio. This makes sense, based on the tough property market that INSURICA has their footprint in and the types of specialty practice groups that we insure (i.e. churches, hospitals, warehouses, schools, etc.)👍" ► Tim, what do INSURICA’s Core Values of Integrity, Innovation, and Purpose mean to you? How do you apply these in your day-to-day work? "I believe that the core values of INSURICA set us apart from our competitors. They are a great roadmap on how we as individuals and as a company should conduct ourselves and achieve sustained success. I really like that INSURICA has embraced Risk Control and the RM4U Process to mitigate risk and improve the risk profile for our customers. I try to treat every customer with integrity ⚖ and respect while creating innovative💡ways to prevent injury, accidents or property damage. That is the ultimate purpose 💞 of the work that I do!" 💫 *At INSURICA, you can be "U." Discover why INSURICA has been named a "Best Agency to Work For!" Apply today 👉INSURICA.com/careers
