Celebrating a decade of transformative impact 🙌 The Los Angeles Regional Initiative for Social Enterprises, or LA:RISE, is a groundbreaking $80M public-private partnership led by the City of LA Economic Workforce Development Department, the Roberts Enterprise Development Fund (REDF), and Team DEO. Together, we've empowered 9,500 Angelenos by breaking down employment barriers through innovative workforce solutions. The 10th anniversary theme, "Empowering Futures: A Decade of Impact and Collaboration," highlighted LA’s vital role in tackling systemic challenges like homelessness and justice involvement. With the program's support, over 5,700 participants have transitioned into paid transitional roles, and 4,700 have secured competitive, unsubsidized jobs - paving the way to economic independence 🚀💼 We were honored to share the stage with our fellow innovative partners Center for Employment Opportunities, Downtown Women’s Center, and the City of LA to discuss the power of transforming lives through employment, meeting industry needs, building non-profit capacity, and planning for a brighter future.🤝✨ Attendees were deeplymoved by inspiring stories from LA:RISE graduates Johnny Ramirez and Alexandria Pineda, who shared their journeys and the profound impact of the program. The event was capped off with uplifting music from Urban Voices, reminding us all of the power of community. 🎶❤️ Cheers to 10 years and more! Together, we’re empowering Los Angeles’ vulnerable populations to build brighter futures! 🌟💪 #LAriSE #EmpoweringFutures #WorkforceDevelopment #EconomicIndependence @laewdd, @redfworks, @dwcweb, @ceoworks, @urbanvoicesproject
