ADEC has been serving Elkhart County since 1952 by promoting a high quality of life for people with disabilities in our communities. Whether in the classroom, on the playing field, in the workplace, or in the neighborhood, the power of participation is incredible. Through comprehensive residential and day services ADEC helps people with developmental and physical disabilities discover and share their talents in their community as employees, students, competitors, consumers, advocates and volunteers.

Individuals from our South Bend Day Program recently spent a morning volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House of Michiana! They worked hard to make silverware packs for individuals who get to-go meals or meals delivered to their room from the hospital cafeteria. We had a great time!
