Two teenage boys have been charged after a man was threatened at knifepoint and had his bank account drained.
The robbery happened between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Saturday, in Beachborough Road, Folkestone.
A man walking down the road was approached and threatened by two occupants of a white car which had stopped, and who had a knife.
The pair, who are believed to know the victim, then stole his phone and transferred money out of his bank account.
Arrests were made and now a 17-year-old boy from Hythe and Georgie Barrow, 18 of Pavilion Road, Folkestone, have been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today.
