IOWA CITY AND CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - These boys and nine other guinea pigs where left at the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center in a cardboard box as babies.

All the other guinea pigs have been adopted or sent to a guinea pig rescue. Tase and Durzan Khan are about five months old now and on the shy side.

Their favorite part of the day is when they get fresh hay and salads each morning. ICAC staff members say they could be adopted together or separately.

Mr. S arrived at the Cedar Valley Humane Society after his owner passed away. It was difficult adjustment at first, but he’s doing better since moving to the admin office at CVHS.

Mr. S gets along with dogs, but would prefer to be your only feline companion. He loves attention, snoozing the day away and playing with his favorite pineapple toy.

This seven-year-old would love to be your home office assistant. Click HERE for adoption information and the application.
