All in the Family! ‘Octomom’ Nadya Suleman Is a Proud Mother of 14: Meet Her Kids

Elijah

Twinning! Eli and his sister Amerah “allowed” their mom to take this festive photo of them while celebrating Christmas. “We all value privacy, so this is serious progress in the social media world,” Nadya wrote.

Eli is the oldest of his mom’s 14 children and was born in 2001.

Amerah

Amerah graduated from high school in December 2020 and hoped to become a doctor. “Words cannot express how proud I am of you!” Nadya wrote. “Your strength and relentless perseverance are admirable and I have faith you will accomplish your goal of one day becoming a doctor! This is just the beginning of the beautiful life you choose to attain. Thank you God for protecting my heart from day one.”

Amerah is Nadya’s second oldest child and was born in 2002.

Joshua

Celebrating Joshua’s 18th birthday on August 20 by sharing a throwback photo of him and Aiden from 2007, Nadya wrote in the caption, “Happy 18th birthday to my second oldest son Joshua. You have grown into a highly intelligent, self-motivated, hard working, responsible, and respectful young man.” She added, “You are a rare and unique individual, with the most sardonic sense of humor of anyone I’ve ever known. I love you more than words can express. You are loved and appreciated by us all. I respect your choice to remain private, and always will.”

Joshua is extremely private and has not allowed his mom to share photos of him beyond his childhood. He was the first of Nadya’s 14 children to become a father, welcoming a daughter with his wife in August 2024.

Aidan and Makai

The brotherly love is real. Aidan (left) – who was born in 2005 – spent some quality time with his younger sibling outside in this heartwarming pic. “Everywhere Aidan goes Makai follows,” Nadya shared.

She previously spoke about Aidan’s special needs in an August 2019 Instagram post. “He is 14 years old, severely autistic and requires total care. Aidan relies on me, his mom, to completely assist him in meeting all his needs in activities of daily living,” she wrote.

Caleb

“Welcome to the teenage years! “So THIS is what happens when I ask my teenage son to take a picture of my twins for their 13th birthday dinner,” Nadya wrote alongside this pic of Caleb and Calyssa, who were the last children she welcomed before the birth of her octuplets.

Calyssa

To celebrate their mom’s birthday, Calyssa (middle) and her younger sisters whipped up a delicious meal.

Nadya wrote, “My kids left me speechless after spontaneously surprising me with homemade vegan fruit pancakes for breakfast.”

Noah

Nadya’s son Noah clearly has a passion for music. She praised his “wonderful” beginning strings performance in the caption of this charming portrait.

Jonah

Eating nutritiously! The doting mom shared this precious pic of her son Jonah.

“Jonah sharing the soon to be devoured forest before dinner,” she wrote.

Nariyah

Nariyah is “the main chef” of the family! On February 21, 2021, Nadya shared photos and videos of her mini-me making “delicious homemade vegan fettuccini.”

Maliyah

Could she be any sweeter with her pigtails? Definitely not! “My little baby is growing up too fast,” Nadya captioned this snap of her daughter.

Josiah and Jeremiah

The squad assembled! Josiah (wearing red in the middle) and Jeremiah (in the black shirt on the right) were all smiles in this cute pic.

“Makai, Nariyah, Maliyah, Josiah, Jonah, and Jeremiah you were so fun to watch in choir,” Nadya gushed.

Isaiah

Isaiah, on the far left, was over the moon to be among the winners of the 5K in their age group.

And guess who else made the roster? His brothers Josiah and Noah, as well as their sister Maliyah.

Sharing a photo of Eli and Amerah in 2002, Nadya wrote in the caption of her July 2021 Instagram post, “Throwing it back to nearly 20 years ago.”

Nadya shared a throwback photo of Amerah, sweetly captioning it, “Beautiful princess Amerah, and me, literally a month after having JJ (not pictured).”

Nature Lovers

The Suleman girls had fun visiting a botanical garden with their mom. “Grateful for nature, and our simple, humble life,” Nadya gushed on August 9, 2020.

Keeping in theme with her botanical garden photo, Nadya shared a pic of the Suleman girls holding bouquets of roses.

Church Visit

After attending church with her children, Nadya shared this cute snap of her kids and a “beautiful” message she had while at the service: “It is always appropriate to love. It is never appropriate to judge.. Give the same amount of grace to others you would want given to you.”

Vegan Takeout

Sharing a post-church photo of her kids in September 2021, Nadya said they were all participating in a “family fun night” waiting for vegan burgers.

Halloween 2021

Nadya and her daughters pulled out all the stops with their vampire costumes for Halloween, wearing fangs and spooky dresses to partake in the holiday fun.

Nadya shared a snap of “head chefs” Noah and Nariyah as they served the most delicious Christmas dinner, which included “mac and cheese; homemade mash potatoes and gravy; raw and cooked mixed vegetables (green beans, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, and creamed spinach); baked potatoes; vegan croissant balls; rolls; and (store bought) vegan pumpkin and apple pie.”

Ringing in the New Year!

“We hope and pray you all have a safe, healthy, and prosperous 2022!!!” Nadya captioned a video of her children counting down to midnight, before adding, “Sorry for the obnoxious scream, my eldest daughter’s dog jumped up on me unexpectedly!”

Nariyah’s Singing

Sharing a clip of Nariyah singing her very own song “Pouring Down”, Nadya wrote that her little one “is a natural and passionate song writer, and has written nearly 20 songs independently.”

Weekly Meeting

Nadya shared that she has weekly discussions with her children, in which they discuss a range of “various topics.” Their talk pictured here, which lasted “over an hour and a half,” was all about the “detrimental effects of quarantine on mental health and how this impacted student behavior at school.”

13th Birthday

Celebrating the octuplets’ 13th birthday, Nadya took herself and the rest of her brood out for a day of bowling, and later, the family were spotted out and about at a nearby park.

Sharing a snap of her outing with her daughters, Nadya wrote that her “girls night out” at church was full of “prayer, praise and word,” adding that the “night of worship was healing and encouraging for us all!”

Living That Vegan Life

“As a mom I try to feed my family the most nutritious, nutrient dense foods possible, but also believe educating them on why we eat what we eat is invaluable,” the mom of 14 said of her children’s diets in a May 2022 Instagram post. “We are ethical vegans first, refusing to contribute to the merciless suffering of sentient beings, and the destruction of our planet. The byproduct of leading a vegan lifestyle is excellent health.”

Happy Birthday, Amerah!

Celebrating daughter Amerah’s 20th birthday, Nadya took to Instagram sharing photos of their night out celebrating the big occasion. “Happy 20th birthday to my beautiful baby girl Amerah!” she wrote in the caption. “I can’t believe two decades have flown by so quickly. It feels like yesterday you would play dress up as a princess, and now you have grown up to be a queen.”

Turning 20

“I love you more than words can express and support you in everything you do,” the mom of 14 added in her post. “You are smart, strong, genuine, loving, compassionate, and not only my daughter, but my closest friend.”

Proud Mom

“Our journey has been arduous and obstacle ridden; though if you saw the size of the blessing coming, you would understand the magnitude of the battle we’ve been fighting,” Nadya continued to gush about her daughter. “Thank you for choosing me to spend your special day with, and sharing our birthday celebrations! We love you with every ounce of our hearts, and hope you had fun!”

Nadya shared that not only has working out become “a new lifestyle for me,” but her “oldest [five] kids have followed my lead, and lift weights consistently as well.”

In this August 2022 snap, Nadya shared a look at daughter Maliyah “happily dog sitting” the pooch, Harley. In a hashtag, the mom of fourteen added that her brood is a “family of animal lovers.”

Major Milestone

Nadya celebrated her octuplets starting 8th grade with a sweet Instagram post.

“First day of 8th grade. Be proud of yourselves kids for being kind, respectful, and helpful to all your fellow peers, teachers and staff. You are exceptional role models to the 6th and 7th graders,” she wrote alongside a photo of all eight kids lined up in front of her garage in August 2022. “I love you.”

The proud then addressed any potential trolls, writing, “Side note to critics: their older siblings did not want me to post a picture on their first day. I respect their choice, so should you.”

Social media users saw how much Amerah has grown up when Nadya shared a photo of her daughter via Instagram in September 2022.

Getting Older

Nadya shared a snapshot of all eight octuplets enjoying vegan donuts on their birthday in January 2023. “Happy 14th birthday to Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Nariyah, Josiah, Jonah and Makai! You are some of the most loving, thoughtful, conscientious, and humble human beings I have ever known,” she wrote in the caption.

“The struggles we’ve endured over the years, have strengthened our connections to one another. By facing new challenges in the years to come, I hope we will continue to grow as a family. I am blessed beyond measure to be your mother. I love you,” the proud mom added.

In a birthday celebration for their mom in July 2023, the octuplets showed how different and unique their various features were. “Thank you kids for making my birthday yesterday so special and stress free! I’m so grateful to you all for your insurmountable love! I feel beyond blessed. I love you,” Nadya wrote in the caption.

Nadya had a “girls’ night out for vegan ramen” with Amerah and Calyssa in August 2023.

For Mother’s Day in 2024, Nadya shared a rare snapshot of all 14 of her children, with the octuplets as babies wrapped in blankets on her bed, surrounded by her six older children.

They Can Cook

Four of the octuplets and one of their older brothers showed off their vegan Thanksgiving spread in November 2023.

Grandma!

Nadya revealed in a September 22, 2024, Instagram post that she became a first-time grandmother after son Joshua and his wife welcomed their first child on August 30, 2024

“Thank you my son and my lovely daughter-in-law for giving us this beautiful gift! We are so blessed that she is a new addition to our family! Baby girl you are so very loved, and we can’t wait to watch you grow!!” she wrote in the Instagram caption of the snapshot showing the infant girl’s foot.

Nadya had let it slip that her son was expecting a child during an August 20, 2024, birthday tribute post. She shared photos of him as a child, writing, “P.S. Maybe one day you’ll allow me to actually share an updated picture.”
