Hey Monie! (2003)
#ILOVEHEYMONIE
I love "Hey Monie" ! It is a really good cartoon & I felt good watching it. I remember I was busy watching episodes of it after watching clips of episodes from"The Mr. Men Show". It's a shame the series was underrated. I even like the positive interactions that are developed between the main protagonist of this cartoon whom is named Simone & her best friend Yvette. I wish That this series could be released on DVD by either Mill Creek Entertainment, The Shout! Factory, LIONSGATE Home Entertainment or any other studio. Hey Monie is cool but it is one of many underrated shows for African-Americans. I remember I saw an AD for this show on a JET Magazine. It is so UNIQUE & I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
Under One Roof (2008)
NICE SHOW; LOW RATINGS
I did like this show when I was young. My favourite actors of this series were Kelly Perine of "One On One" & "Between Brothers" & the main star Flavor Flav. It was cool because Flavor Flav's character Calvester was a thuggish man who came to live with his younger brother WInston & his family after he was released in prison for something that was NOT even his fault. & he was hilarious for doing some of the things that he did. It's a shame that Under One Roof's ratings were so low that MyNetworkTV (formerly known as UPN) decided to cancel it after 13 episodes. Plus I so liked the promos where it would show the MyNetworkTV logo with either the "Cali Cal" chain or a hat with a pair of sunglasses. I even liked the promos where the main theme plays. My favourite character was Calvester because he was cool & he was hilarious.
D.A.R.E. Safety Tips Starring Retro Bill (2001)
not a good show
MY BROTHER ETHAN HATES THIS SHOW BECAUSE HE THINKS IT'S STUPID. I REMEMBER I ONCE SUPPORTED THIS SHOW & ETHAN WOULD NOT LET ME WATCH THIS SHOW BECAUSE HE LOVED YOUNG JUSTICE & I REMEMBERED I WANTED TO WATCH RETRO BILL BUT HE WOULDN'T LET ME BUT ONE DAY, I TURNED TO IT FROM YOUNG JUSTICE & HE WAS VERY AGITATED BY WHAT I DID. I REGRETTED IT & NOW I DO NOT LIKE THIS ONE.
Sprung (1997)
THis is a cool movie. I love Sprung!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really love this film. I remember watching this good film on one Friday Night during the summer of 2016 as it was being aired by Bounce. My favourite song that was played in the movie is "You want This Party Started Right" by Somethin' For The People. I like this film because it is very funny & I think that Adina & Brandy were the best looking females in this film as well as the woman that Montel was about to cheat on Brandy with. Plus I even like how some former "Tales From The Hood" actors starred in it whom were Rusty Cundieff (obviously), Paula Jai Parker, Joe Torry & Clarence Williams,III. I even like how former "Martin" actress Tisha Campbell-Martin stars in this film as well. I even liked how the actors who played as the titular characters in the CBS series "The Jeffersons" also starred in it. I even give props to ALL people who funded for this project whom are the stars, the director (Whom also is one of the stars), Lionsgate Entertainment (as Trimark Pictures), The producers, Stanley Clarke, & ALL who were associated with this film. Plus this film is so much better than that stupid film "Kubo & The Two Strings" (which was released 19 years later).
