No Spoilers! How we can we reconcile extreme violence with good filmmaking in this film? It was just terrible. Sean Bean's career will die if he keeps picking the angry, controlling cardboard characters of late.

The way she brow beats that poor boy on 2 occassions is so disturbing. Where is her empathy and ability to connect with a victim? I stopped watching half-way through the second episode so it is likely abusive tactics continued.
In addition it was deadly dull!
