i love how this movie shows what can happen if you are a teen mother, and if people find out. i think it was heartwarming and some points honestly brought tears to my eyes. Danielle Panabaker gives a great performance in this movie. this movie, to me, is an excellent thing for teens and their parents to watch. even people who aren't teenagers yet may like this movie. this can really show you that having sex as a teen, or even preteen, has it's consequences. all in all, i really like this movie a lot.lifetime is doing a great job by using such hot, young actors/actresses in their movies. i most definitely give this movie two thumbs up and five gold stars.
I think this movie was interesting. It doesn't really portray what the book tells you. For example, Montag's wife's name is Mildred in the book and Linda in the movie. There is no Faber in the movie. The book has more of a futuristic feeling. You can read the book now in 2005, and still find it futuristic. In the movie, the parlor walls weren't as they were let on to be in the book. It was said Montag had 3 covering 3 of his walls. In the movie, he only has one and it doesn't even cover up the whole wall. I do, however, like the fire truck and the music chosen for when they are driving to a house that has books. All in all I think this movie is pretty good for something made in the 60's.
i thought this movie was great! i saw it in my social studies class, and loved it. they really gave you some great information about how the war began. it may have been about a fictional boy and how he wanted to join the militia to impress his dad, but it had some real things that happened. one of them was not when the guy was riding on the horse screaming about the British coming. someone in my class thought that his job was cool because he got to ride on a horse through the town screaming about the British coming.. he then said if the British caught him, he would cover his eyes. i'm very glad my social studies teacher had us watch this movie, because it taught me more about how the war began. i give this movie two thumbs up.
