It is the beginning of summer vacation in France but with the finance crises and all the government decides to stop the vacations one month early.
This movie was a very good surprise. Great humor and very refreshing it is a mix of " La rue sans loi " " Les valseuses " and any movie from the 70s actually. It also reminded me of the humor of Peter sellers and Charlie Chaplin in the way the characters are moving and expressing themselves. It is quite impressive how poetic and absurd this film is. It does have some scenes that from my point of view don't add anything special and are just making it longer, maybe too long. But i was caught from the beginning and the actors were perfect.I didn't know any of them and after some research some of them are not even in the movie business but frankly they were the best. I just left the cinema wanting to live my life fully and loving it !
The Wire (2002)
One of the best yet
This is a show you have to follow until the end and then re-watch from the beginning to really appreciate the characters. It's a long run TV show. Almost like you're watching live life. It has the best casting ever, and the storyline is clever, never gets boring or easy. What can also be appreciated is that some of the actors are actually from the hood,only adding to the realistic aspect of this TV show.I have never found another TV show that rates so high, in my opinion, in every aspects of it. I heard they're might be thinking of making a season 6 ! I really hope they keep some of the characters and most importantly the real spirit of the show. Because it's been perfect all the way.
