Taken (2008)
Best work of Maggie Grace since her role in LOST as Shannon Rutherford
Taken Is a dramatic and interesting movie about a spy's daughter getting kidnapped while she's in France. Maggie Grace (LOST, The Fog, Suburban Girl, Jane Austin Book Club) is a little on the "Little Kid" side for her age and height but her performance as a scared and worried teenager who is being held hostage was amazing. Liam Neeson (Star Wars) is a spy who will do anything to get his daughter back. He lets nothing stand in his way. When I went to go see this I was shocked... He was bigger and badder than James Bond. I thought I was going to the movies to see my favorite actress ex LOST Survivor (Maggie Grace) and I thought O wow it's going to be another boring film with just a pretty face in it. Boy was I wrong. This movie is a MUST SEE. I suggest that everyone goes and gets them a copy of this movie when it comes out on DVD. Taken Has such a good supporting Cast such as.. Famke Janssen (X - Men 1,2,3). Taken will leave you on the edge of your seat and you will be praying that nothing bad happens to some of the main characters in this Wicked film.
Monkey Trouble (1994)
My Favorite Kid's Movie of all time!!!
Monkey Trouble is a funny and great movie for the whole family to watch starring.. Thora Birch (American Beauty, Hocus pocus) and Mimi Rogers (Ginger Snaps, Penny Dreadful) I just love the thought of people making a movie about where it seems like a little girl or kid is stealing and always getting in trouble like kids do, but it turns out to be their Monkey LOL!!! Props for this entertaining movie. I recommend that everyone run to their local BlockBuster and pick this cute film up. The Music on this film is also great with the movie's theme song Hey Hey were the Monkeys by the Monkeys, a very cool band way back when just like the Beatles.
Hell Night (1981)
Hell Night brings this cool & hit & scary film to the screen!!!
Hell Night has the talented Linda Blair in this scary flick. I originally hate old movies in the 80's and under but for some reason this is one caught my eye and it now is one of my favorite films of all time. If you guys liked this movie you should also try (Ginger Snaps) & (Witchouse). The mansion that the characters are staying the night in in this flick is amazing it looks scary and it looks cool and very old inside of it. Just everything about this set on this movie will give you all chills. I recommend that everyone picks up a copy of this horror movie at there local BlockBuster. Hell Night will truly give you all the creepies. WATCH IT!!!!
The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999)
The Rage : Carrie 2 is just the type of blood you need in a Horror flick!!!
The Rage : Carrie 2 is unique because it has things you wouldn't normally see in a classic horror film. Such as when Lisa Parker (Mena Suvari) commits suicide when she jumps off the school building and lands on top of a windshield car. Now that is some cool gore. The Music in this film is very sad and very good. The actors are popular and they perform great. And the title says it all when it says THE RAGE. The original Carrie i didn't care for much (I guess because i don't really care for old flicks of any kind) But the remake of the first Carrie in 2002 was cool. This Horror flick brings class to the screen in a new and interesting way. I suggest any horror movie freak go to there local BlockBuster and pick the very hip movie up!!!
Ginger Snaps (2000)
Ginger Snaps is an A+++
Ginger Snaps is an unusual Horror flick. It is considered a Low Budget flick but i didn't even know that until now because its nothing like a low budget horror flick, I guess they just say that because of how much money they used to make this movie (which was probably not a lot if it is SO CALLED low budget) Ginger Snaps is a very cool, hit & great film. It's about creepy and scary were wolves. This movie is so good that they made 2 sequels to this hott film. It is one of my most favorite movies of all time. The Actors are great and they have just enough blood for my Horror Movie Buzz!!! I strongly suggest that everyone runs to there local BlockBuster and rent this hip Movie!!!
But I'm a Cheerleader (1999)
Gays & Lesbians .... well that rules
This film is not your tipical boring movie that you watch over and over again that has the same love stories. This movie has class!!!! But I'm a Cheerleader has you laughing your ass off. The movie has great music like.. Chick Habbit (also on the movie Death Proof starring Rose McGowan from TV's Charmed) by : April March. This is by far one of my favorite films of all time. The funny thing about this film is that when a guy or girl walks past this movie in a BlockBuster they don't care to see this film because it shows a girly film who is a CheerLeader, but this movie isn't about cheerleaders lol. It hardly ever shows anything about cheerleaders. This movie is about Lesbian's and Gay's. I suggest everyone go pick this up at there local movie rental store.
Devil's Pond (2003)
A Movie that will catch your eye!!!
Devil's Pond is a very good film. Yes it is an indie film but that's besides the point. Tara Reid (American Pie 1 & 2, Urban Legend) gives us a great performance. Kip Pardue (But I'm A Cheerleader) is not the greatest actor but does well on this interesting film. This movie only has like 2 songs in it but the songs sound pretty good. I found no mistakes which is good because i'm really good at catching those in movies. The site where they shoot the film is beautiful with a little cabin setting in the middle of a pond and the fact that this movie only has 2 actors in the entire film makes it all more interesting to watch. I suggest that everyone who likes to see blood and abuse in the movies to go rent this film at your local BlockBuster!!!
Teaching Mrs. Tingle (1999)
I give Teaching Mrs. Tingle a 100 stars out of 10!!!
Teaching Mrs. Tingle is a wonderful film... by far my most favorite comedy/drama film. It is a indie film (meaning it is not low budget but it is not sold in stores or not noticed or heard about much) but it is a wonderful and funny movie to watch. It has very good music and a very good story line. The artwork on the cover tells it all, the main cast members all black and white with a really red apple lol. I really suggest everyone to rent or buy this movie. Great Cast members Katie Holmes (Dawson's Creek, Batman begins) Barry Watson (7th Heaven) Marrisa Coughlan (Freddy Got Fingered) and Helen Mirren (The Queen, National Treasure 2)
Witchouse (1999)
Witchouse Brings Class To The Screen For A Low Budget B Movie!!!
Even if this movie is low budget, it did pretty well. Full Moon Pictures makes a lot of B movies but I think this is there best one. It includes Brooke Mueller who plays the rebel (Janet) in the film, she is now married to actor Charlie Sheen from two and a half men. The make up effects in this film were GREAT if this was a higher budget film then this movie could be like 30 days of night or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Some of the lines and the other effects are not so great but over all I loved this movie. I own 2 copies of it on DVD. Witchouse 2 : Blood Coven has a better story to it but the make up and the actors are better in the first one. People also need to take into consideration that the actors in this film could only shoot each scene one time so if someone messed up in the scene then that scene would have been in this film so I thought they did a hard working effort in this film.
