Jiu qiang (2022)
Important but it should be more subjective
The movie was shocking when it first started. We can see the video of the crime scene (regardless of whether the video has legal problems or not). But in the middle part, it started to leave the case itself and discuss the difficulties faced by the entire immigrant worker group in Taiwan. I think the whole film is a bit off topic. It's not that the content he discussed is unimportant, but that this film should be discussed separately from the opposite side of the case itself. Although the director can have his own position, he is very biased. He tried to have the position of wanting to put the police position in, but the length was very different. When I saw the discussion of other migrant worker cases in the middle, I thought the director would raise the whole film to a higher level, but I didn't expect the ending to return to the case itself, which makes people feel very disappointed.

An Astonishing Debut of Kai Ko
After watching the movie, my first reaction was to worry about Kai Ko's mental state first! Too cruel! It's hard not to compare "Bad Education" with "Mon Mon Mon Monster", especially the cruelty of death and social collapse, which is quite wonderful. I actually like the entry point of "Mon... Monster" on the exploration of human nature. It makes a very interesting interpretation of "trusting others" and "the boundary between good and evil" The cruelty of society captured in "Bad Education" is compared to "Mon... Monster" and the final death together: the death of all the bad guys in the movie world can make the audience feel refreshed when watching movies, "Bad Education" does not want to achieve it at all It's a good blow to the head, and it can be seen that Kai hates the world and the way the world works in his works more than in the Gidden's works. The bloodiness of the whole film is actually not high. As an audience who is not afraid of non-realistic horror movies, but only afraid of physical pain such as chopping hands, amputating palms, and pulling out teeth, "Bad Education" completely hits my fear point. The horror of the whole film can also be summed up by the word "cruel". It is not a cool film about fighting and killing, but a physical and mental torture that forces you to dig a piece of meat to sacrifice.

Disappointing work compared with director's previous work
Compared with the director's previous works, this film has obviously regressed. On the contrary, the usual shortcomings are more prominent. The director really likes to create a reconciliation scene at the end of the film where everyone talks, but I think sometimes this loses the charm of the image, and even feels cheap. The film as a whole is funny, but still rigid. Creative but conservative. If this film is regarded as Taiwanese iconic LGBTQ+ film, I will feel a little bit disappointed. However, I think Greg Hsu in this film performs well and worth complementing. So as action choreography is stunning!

Not an issue movie
Movies with issues like this should have more diverse viewpoints. For the retrospective events that reproduce history, only the mentality of medical staff is discussed. I don't know what reflection this film can bring to the audience. Although the actors performed very well, the photography and sound effects were too aggressive, and I felt uncomfortable many times during the viewing process. It can only be said that the director avoided the connotation that should be discussed. In order to avoid being scolded and being involved in political issues, he made this film useless except for reviewing history, which was quite a sadness.
