The Amazing Bulk (2012)
amazing
Satisfying and fulfilling in every way. Cinematic masterpiece. Easy plot to follow. Top tier editing. Acting. Loved it. Especially good when played at 2x speed. Was completely moved and changed as a person.
It was especially the most satisfying at the part when the Amazing Bulk slabbed those people with his bulk just like PLOP! That was my favorite part. It was definitely an ultimate rizz moment especially at the end when he killed her dad.
Best kind of satire i mean it sucks but like you kinda just don't care and give into it and just enjoy life .
Hmmm definitely this is a movie only understood and appreciated by a select few😩😩 nobody understands the grind😍
The Beatnicks (2001)
oh wow this was just beautiful
I have no words. I've never seen a movie like this. You can tell it was a passion project, and it was worth whatever they sacrificed to get this little movie out there. The messages strung a chord in my heart. The comedy was perfection, i haven't laughed so much in a long time. The music roots the movie in truth. The wisdom of the movie is subtle and not overbearing. It has that shine, that charm. The ending scene is haunting in a good way, like those bittersweet nostalgic memories you can never quite get over.
The way they talk about.. idk the way they do the poetry and the music... i really feel that like i really understand. And man we really are connected to it like that. Please if you haven't watched i sincerely recommend. I'm glad to have had this treasure before i die.
I'd say this is also a psychedelic movie lol for those of you out there who know.
Nefarious (2023)
it was amazing
First of all this movie was very bold and im glad it went all out and just fully embraced its own message because not many people are willing to put this kind of message out there so boldly and thoroughly as this was done.
I could definitely feel as i was watching it the different reactions that people of different belief systems would have to some of the dialogue and messages. I'm glad this movie took itself so seriously because for the people who do believe, it is very serious.
If i had watched this movie while i was still an atheist, i would not have liked it at all. Coincidentally i recently found god before watching this movie and i know for sure it definitely changed the way i saw the movie. It was almost scary how accurate and real the things that were being said felt. I guess that's where the horror comes from. Even if you don't believe, the clash of good and evil and the way it was handled in this story particular create a lot of tension and suspense.
I'm just so glad this movie was made. Because people don't realize that the fight is everywhere, of good and evil. And every deed, every reaction we have affects it. Also sean does for sure deserve and award because GOD DAMN. I am a fan of acting i always loved acting i appreciate people's ability to do it well very much. And this performance just took the cake for me. It was SO DAMN GOOD i was sitting there just buzzing from how happy i was that not only the acting was so wonderful but it was practically all dialogue so i got to enjoy it the entire time!!! Ugh i'm so glad they did it that way. I'm so so glad. It all went down perfectly.
Not to mention I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing people act out the two different characters stuck in one body. I LOVE IT i EAT THAT TROPE UP. And sean did it PHENOMENALLY. It was amazing and i would recommend the entire movie just for that part.
I can't imagine how extremely hard it is to actually pull off in practice, and you can tell sean worked very hard to make it as convincing as he did. I was convinced there was two characters in one body. I mean thats also because i agreed with the message but i just mean his acting was that good that it was genuinely convincing. If you like that trope as much as i do you should DEFINITELY watch.
Also it was really sad at the end, when he didn't let him have his cheeseburger and fries. It was so so sad my heart broke for him. It really showed the demons' true feelings towards his vessels.
What im wondering now is... how did that guy manage to escape the demon at the end when he's being interviewed? They kinda just blow over that part and it makes me wonder if they intend a sequel lol... hehe.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023)
i don't usually make reviews
But i didn't think i would like this movie and i did. It was sweet and it handled the emotional climax well. Laughing then crying then laughing again. And the whole theater was laughing and crying with me. It was wholesome. Kind of like it connected all of us with the emotions it was able to portray. It's a good movie if you're not a hyper critic and you just like to enjoy a good silly movie. The storyline was interesting and the visuals were engaging enough to keep you occupied but not overwhelmed. They never really tried to do too much or take themselves to seriously. Therefore it was really easy to just relax and enjoy without taking things too serious. Overall heartfelt and meaningful, i would recommend especially to the DND fans who are looking for a movie that appreciates the actual mechanics of the game.
