Will & Harper (2024)
She is, indeed, a woman!
During this documentary, I was unable to picture Harper as a man. She had the same hangups all women have... Are we good enough? Are we pretty enough? What does he, she, they think of us? What would it take to be accepted by all the people all the time and be happy while faking it!
I cried, I laughed, I felt, which I was not expecting.
The steak restaurant was maybe a mistake but hey, that's life. Not the first time and probably not the last.
I hope Harper can live in her skin and be happy with herself because of her humanity and accomplishments. Because that's where happiness comes from...it should't come from society's expectations!
Make them all deserve you and your friendship. If they don't, move on sugar!
Cunk on Earth (2022)
My Kind of Learning
I really wish this is how history was taught in my high school. I would've paid more attention.
There's just enough actuality, mixed with Cunk's naïveté!
I haven't laughed at a series this much...EVER! It's informative and hysterically funny!
I feel Cunk's frustrations at times, because sometimes history doesn't make any sense to a layman like myself. I loved how she would share her friend's and exes accomplishments, inventions and delusions, with bona fide experts, in their field of their expertise.
I would've liked to have been a member of the crew that were responsible for making this series. I would love to have seen how Cunk was able to stay so serious and see how often she would break at the ludicrousness of what she was informing us of!
West Side Story (2021)
A Terrible Tony
I loved everything about this movie, except for Tony. He was a terrible actor, singer and dancer. It felt like he was in an entirely different movie.
All I saw was an arrogant, stiff and talentless guy. Too bad he was in the majority of scenes.
The casting of every other character was perfect. I loved the music, dancing and acting. This version along with the original are timeless.
I would have given West Side Story 10 stars, but the casting of Tony lowered it to five stars.
I think the gal playing Maria has a has very bright future ahead of her along with all the other headlining actors and actresses.
Beckett (2021)
This apple fell far, far from the tree!
Washington did not inherit his father's acting chops! The movie had a great concept, but Washington's acting made it almost unbearable to watch. If there is an award ranked lower than a Razzie, Washington is a shoo-in!
If you have an hour and a half of time to waste, read the reviews, they're more entertaining than this heinously acted movie!
Drag Kids (2019)
Awesome parents!
This was a great documentary. The kids were young and talented and knew what they wanted in their lives!
Enlighten Us (2016)
Self-help megalomaniac gone murderer!
I had to stop watching this documentary when this idiot was somehow back on stage after he served time in jail for killing 3 of his "friends"!
They were killed in a sweat lodge of his design!
He said that was a terrible time in his life filled with anguish and pain.
Never once did he mention how it must've affected the deceased people's families. It was just a tough blow to him... and him alone!
By the grace of God he is still here!
This is such a pathetic display of humanity and I'm so disgusted with myself that I waisted 30 minutes of my life on it!
Do not waste your time on this piece of poop!
This Is Us: Strangers (2019)
A hopeful heart returns!
Can ugly crying be considered a review?
With everything that's going on in the world, it seems to me we have a futile future. This show, however, has lighted a spark in me! A spark to believe in hope and proving we all have a larger part in life that we believe ever possible!
Kidding (2018)
Andy Kaufman?
I only enjoyed episode 1 when Mr. Pickles learned what the "P" ment due to his son's, Will, explaining it to him. All I saw was Jim Carey acting like Andy Kaufman. It was very distracting for me.
I am hoping the show improves and I would like to see more of Will and Mr. Pickles historical hilarity!
Winter's Tale (2014)
Colin's Hair
I think Colin's hair deserve some sort of acting award! I haven't seen hair getting flipped so much since Farah Fawcett!!
Patrick Melrose (2018)
I bet Benedict Cumberbatch will win an Emmy next year for this role
I bet Benedict Cumberbatch will win an Emmy next year for this role! 20 minutes into Patrick Melrose I was hooked!
