Should be a TV series, so funny ! Also contains a bunch of early 2010 references which I found cool and very nostalgic, a bunch of jokes would probably be cancelled nowadays.

Throwing a bunch of streamers on screen and ranting about muh "white privilege", "toxic males" and "patriarchy" isn't a recipe for success, in fact, it makes the movie very boring and unfunny.

The only funny thing about this movie actually is about how out of touch with reality it is, I think the writers couldn't be bothered to talk to some actual gaming coders to have an idea about the subject.

Don't even get me started about the stereotypical roles, the female "empowered" character makes her male counterpart look like a plot device rather than another character, because she's SOO SMART and GIFTED, and he's probably mentally challenged from what I understood from the movie. The male gamer that lives in his mom's basement, so funny wow. Weirdly enough when talking about "normal" gamers it was always pre-teen girls, because sure, that's the main audience that plays games like GTA, am I rite?

In short, don't watch, big waste of time.

I understand this is supposed to be a funny movie with arbitrary and crazy situations, but the length that the story goes to try to make a problem or a situation so the characters will have something to do is an insult to anybody who's watching.

Other than that the performances are very forced and painfully unfunny.

Wouldn't recommend.
