The Sulfur River's pillars are brown when playing the activity game to solve the puzzle to get to the surface of the Living Island. In the cutscene when first visiting the location, the pillars are gray in the camera angles facing the adventurers, just shortly before Joni takes a stunt hopping across to get to the other side.
Even though the video phones Santiago and Owen each use are redesigned in this game and later games, during the cutscene where Joni and Santiago are in the final chamber inside the Living Island, Santiago's video phone is shown with the original design from 3rd Grade Adventures.
The activity Sulfur River is referred to as "Sulfur Bridge" in the instruction manual.
When Joni and Santiago enter the passageway to enter the inside of the Living Island either from land or underwater (whichever was done first), they are wearing their normal clothes. If they do so underwater, they should still be wearing their diving suits.
On the game's box art, Joni, Owen, and Santiago are depicted wearing black diving suits with yellow accents and snorkeling goggles for headwear. In the game, Owen does not swim or wear diving gear since he and Leslie are trapped inside the Living Island, and Joni and Santiago's diving suits when underwater are black with red and blue accents respectively and wear full-on helmets for headwear.
