Wow, that was honestly one of the best series finales I've ever seen. This episode twisted and turned in ways that I didn't expect, yet made so much sense. The way this story closes left me with a couple of moments that really punched me in the gut. While there is good comedy to be found in this one, this episode went darker than Veep has gone before and was pulled off spectacularly.

Veep's final episode is truly a great feat of writing, directing and acting. The show gave us an almost perfect ending, that encapsulated all the things I loved about the show and yet managed to surprise me. Because Veep showed us in its last moments it had been a tragedy all along, and we've just been laughing about it.
Selina Meyer at her best (worst) in the series finale just feels right. Every moment was well-crafted and perfectly performed. This is how you wrap up a genius comedy the right way!
I can't express how much veep has filled me with joy over the years and I could have asked for a more satisfying ending

If I have to thank HBO for a great show it's not GOT, it's not Westworld and it's not Six feet Under.... It's the Veep.
I'm gonna say it, Veep finale topped Seinfeld finale for me and that's coming from someone whose been an addict to Seinfeld.
Thankyou everyone for making this show. This finale was as good as TV is ever going to get near a perfect score.
The finale of this amazing series was so much more than I could've ever asked for. By far the funniest episode of the entire series. So many stories coming together at the end brilliantly. Selina's narcissism was more outraged and hilarious than ever. All sitcoms should look to this show for inspiration. In my opinion this is the greatest finale of any show ever.
Ive just finished the full 7 seasons in a week... This finale is excellent... Everything you expect from exceptional writing to perfect performances....
I'm particularly impressed with the guts they had to take selina to a whole new level of self...
I'm truly going to miss watching episodes for the first time...

The final epsidoe of Veep is solid work. Loose threads are gathered, the fates of all involved are resolved and its funny at times. The episode feels a bit rushed but that goes for the whole final season. Lots of anecdotes connect events in this episodes to earlier Veep episodes but you have to be a fan with a good memory to catch them. Refreshingly current writing so typical throughout all episodes of the final season is toned down. Focus instead seems to be on finality and tying it all together.
Dreyfus does a good acting job and among the other actors nobody stands out as worthless. It's not really a very funny episode but it serves its purpose. This series is now history. It's been fun!

I always thought Selina would do anything to get one over her rivals but her treatment of Gary in this final episode was just beyond appalling. Her crocodile tears as she goes on stage do not have any redeeming value for me. I liked the series but the finale just made me dislike the entire thing to be honest.

It's hard to imagine Veep going out much better than this. Everybody brought their A-game, there was a new joke seemingly every 15 seconds or less, there was a surprising amount of poignancy to certain moments, and the legendary Julia Louis-Dreyfuss all but cemented her 7th consecutive Emmy in an amazing performance.
Finales for any show are difficult, but for TV comedies I feel it's even more so. There are shows I've loved and laughed at for years, but struggle to ultimately remember how they ended. Then there are decent, satisfying finales, like for The Office (US) and Parks And Rec, that were perhaps a little too clean and potentially overly sentimental. Scrubs had a fantastic finale... that was ruined when the show came back for a 9th, low-quality, disappointing final season.
But Veep, in its final episode, gives you everything you'd want and then some. I hadn't really felt that its 7th season came across as a climactic one until this episode, which really tied everything together beautifully. I know I'm keeping the details vague, but it's really for the best to go into Veep's final episode knowing as little as possible, both in regards to its best jokes and its overall plot.
I'll miss this show immensely but I look forward to rewatching it one day and once more laughing at horrible people saying and doing horrible things to each other but also being so very funny in the process.

This had it all, everything the series has been built to be, but amplified. It made me laugh and feel more than the series has so far. It's a shame not all shows can end on such a high. At least one ending HBO show will be remembered fondly this summer!
Thank you Veep.
Simply beautiful.

What a brilliant way for this show to end. Armando Iannucci has written one of the best series endings ever, with the story being tied up in an unexpected but entirely logical way. Julia Louis-Dreyfus' performance is a career-best. The rest of the cast are superb all around. Perfect.

This whole season has had a go-for-broke vibe with every supporting and background character making a last-minute appearance. I've nothing wrong with that because it makes this feel like the final sendoff that if it. Truth be told, I was desperately hoping for more Peter MacNicol and I was not disappointed.
Selina completes her arc from cursed also-ran to somewhat of a supervillain in her quest for the oval office. I didn't think this show could actually get anymore acidic in its final season, but I was proven wrong many times over. And yet, there's an optimistic note that the writers choose to end on.
This is one hell of a finish.

It is hard to say good bay to all this character, I felled sad in the end for the way things happened .
