At around 36 mins after the alien exits the car he closes the car door behind him complete with a door slamming sound. The camera cuts to the detective. When it returns the car door is wide open. The camera cuts to the detective again. When it returns the door is closed again.
When Lisa is told to "head him off" as she and Cooper track down the facial recognition lead, she gets out of the car and there's a close-up with the door closing and the window fully open. The very next edit shows her walking away from the vehicle towards the camera with the door shut and the window completely wound up.
The next shot shows it fully open again.
When the Scott Peat character "Motor Pool Mechanic" is being detained by Lisa, he exits the rear door of a Honda Civic and closes the door behind him. In the next shot the car door is open again.
Lisa enters a three car parking stall while searching for "Motor Pool Mechanic", one parking spot is empty, number 38. A moment later, after Cooper arrives, there is a car parked there.
Virginia Miller's obituary states that she got an engineering degree from Texas A&M, but Virginia died no later than 1951, and Texas A&M didn't admit women until 1963.
