"It feels inappropriate to do so, but I couldn't help but think of Kim Jee-woon when watching Lost in Apocalypse. A part of the association is of course a cultural link - the Asian extreme narrative, the tough cops and the slick photography. But the main parallel line is really a compliment - as this effort by Sky Wang is very similar to the works of Kim Jee-woon - the film is polished, technically apt, and blunt. So blunt. It's a stark, peddle-to-the-metal thrill ride of a film. Aided mostly by its cast, the film carriers a great sense of realism, and this is mostly highlighted by the film's ability to maintain its action based narrative within a sort of virus outbreak storyline - in other words, a merging of say The Purge with Shivers. All in all, this film's production values, and use of filmic techniques, make it the solid winner of our grand prize this season... because, quite frankly, no other film comes so loaded and ready to fire down its viewer." - Ben Rider

"Martin Yang plays Jack, the driver of Rich. I loved his development, from a shy, insecure guy, to a charismatic, confident man who makes people respect him for who he is (and wins the heart of Helen Cheng). A wonderful performance in a very challenging genre (a zombie-horror film)." - Roy Zafrani - 2018 Winner Actors Award
- Best Duo
"Mingyi Yang as Rich and Martin Yang as his driver Jack make a great duo for several reasons. They are completely different than each other, have different values, and most importantly, in a world where everyone needs to survive - Rich and Jack are in a continuous conflict that keeps building up to the climax. Mingyi and Martin play the perfect rivals in the best possible way." - Roy Zafrani - 2018 Winner Actors Award

"Director Sky Wang and his talented cast make "Lost In Apocalypse" an entertaining & super intriguing horror film. Each one of the key cast did a great job. I could feel the uniqueness of every character in this film. Together, they bring this ambitious story to life in the most refreshing (and scary!) way." - Roy Zafrani

"Congrats to director Sky Wang for making one of the best Zombie films we've seen in a long time! This thrilling story and its endless plot twists kept us at the edge of our seats from beginning to end! Great performances by the whole ensemble, lead by key cast Martin Yang (Jack) and Mingyi Yang (Rich), incredible production of an undoubtedly ambitious piece."
