Three scenes in the movie are captured during the construction of Mia Studio. The opening scene reflects two palm trees which mark the location of the build. The last scene captures an interrogation in the raw construction a day prior to the roof trusses being delivered. Finally the secretary scene is filmed in the studio in the finished build.
The leading actor quit halfway through the filming, forcing the writer/director to rewrite the remaining scenes, incidentally becoming a lead character himself.
The leading actress, Sandy Penny, looks familiar because she was once a Victoria Secret runway model.
When Korbe Canida (playing HOLLY) answers her cel phone, the ring tone is a song called "Bathtub" which Korbe wrote and is singing.
