There are very few, rare occasions where we, viewers are enthralled by the atrocities going on in the big screen. That's where Aadu 2 suceeds at its best. Even simple, illogical scenes make this film a fun outing at every time.
A sequel to the disaster Aadu ( Oru Bheekara Jeevi Aanu), which was made a iconic film after the dvd release, which sparked a really fun and no-mo film that everyone admired. Aadu's sucess in that area pushed Midhun to take up its sequel, which is sure to destroy the BO.
In short, Aadu 2 takes everything from the first and improves upon it. It does justice to every character ( although Chemban Vinod was missing ) and the pure no-conscience of character development made the film a funnier outing than the first. The story, screenplay., direction were all on par with the first with the little more emphasis on storytelling than the first. The acting, was phenomenal by Jayasurya, who shows no sign of being out of character for a single moment in the movie. Viewers may find it a bit tedious of the runtime. which stretches to nearly 3 hours, but you will rarely notice that. The first half was better than the second, since Aadu is a film which focuses on comedy and the first half exactly delivered that.
Aadu has all the potential to become a franchise. It has the following, the reach and more importantly, memorable characters.
