Errementari is blacksmith in the Basque language.
The iconography and nomenclature of demons are taken from Medieval texts, frescoes and traditions.
It is based on a Basque folk version of the tale of The Smith and the Devil as collected by Father Joxemiel Barandiaran (1889-1991).
Won the Audience Award for Best Feature at the 2017 San Sebastián Horror and Fantasy Film Festival.
