PRINCESS is a short film about three women in their 20s, trying to answer important questions about their futures. The first, Elena, has built a beautiful relationship with her partner Zo, but comes to realise that children aren't part of the life she wants to lead. She struggles to make Zo understand this change of heart that's more deeply rooted than it first appears. The second, Malaika, is getting married and struggles to conform to the idyllic image of a bride imposed by her mother and Kenyan heritage. She explores her identity by tailoring a traditional wedding outfit to better suit her style. The third, Chloe, still lives with her mother who works hard to support the two of them whilst Chloe establishes her career, except Chloe has had enough of waiting for life to begin. She has decided to travel the world but convincing her mother isn't easy.
