One line can explain everything.
If Mithun Chakraborty doesn't get a national award for Kabuliwala, it will be injustice.
Almost every bengali knows the short story named "Kabuliwala" by Rabindranath Tagore. It is about a beautiful bond between a little girl "Mini" and an Afghan vendor Rahmat. Rahmat loved Mini as her own daughter who lived far away in Afghanistan.
Sumon Ghosh is a seasoned director. He did a marvelous job here.
Anumegha acts beautifully as Mini. Abir surprises us as Mini's father. He has done a very commandable job. Sohini is excellent as Mini's mother.
And now, the man who has won our heart with his superlative acting performance as always - the great Mithun Chakraborty as Kabuliwala.
What an actor he is !!
Man, he has given an unbelievable performance as Rahmat, the Kabuliwala. The last ten minutes of the film, your heart will wrench for the man, thanks to the magical acting of Mithun.
He truly deserves another national award for this performance.
The cinematography is very good. The songs are appreciable.
Overall , it's a must MUST watch for every movie lover.
